Richard Wong

Richard Wong received his Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting and Law) from The City University of Hong Kong in 2017 and a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) from The University of Hong Kong in 2024. Wong aims to establish a platform themed on lighthouses and maritime culture to facilitate interdisciplinary academic research and showcase students’ multimedia creations. By this means, Wong hopes to foster a deeper public appreciation of Hong Kong’s legacy as a maritime city through the years, and beyond the future.

    1. The event is conducted in Cantonese. One ticket per person. The event is suitable for people aged 6 or above.
    2. Limited seating quotas available on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants may require to stand.
    3. A deposit of HK$50 shall be paid upon registration. The full deposit will be automatically refunded to your Popticket account within one month after your attendance is confirmed or if the event is cancelled.
    4. Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the start time and present the confirmation e-mail for registration.
    5. HKADC reserves the right to release any unclaimed quota to walk-in participants 5 minutes before the event starts.
    6. Please keep noise to a minimum and mute all sound-emitting devices, including mobile phones, during the event.
    7. Photography and filming for non-commercial purposes are welcomed, but please do not use flashlights, selfie sticks or tripods, or livestream to avoid disturbing other participants.
    8. Eating and drinking are not allowed in the venue.
    9. Views and opinions expressed in the talk do not represent the stand of the organiser.
    10. In accordance with Section 18, 22 and Principle 6 of Schedule 1 to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to request access to and request correction of personal data. Request for personal data access and correction should be addressed to Hong Kong Arts Development Council by email: arts.tech@hkadc.org.hk.
    11. Participants may be captured in photos or video-recordings during the programme. The materials may be saved and uploaded to the organiser(s)', partners(s)' and the artist(s)' websites, social media platforms, publications and/or publicity materials. All photos and videos will be used for promotion purpose only.
    12. For participants' safety, if any emergency situations happen during the programme (e.g. adverse weathers, accidents or disturbances), the programme may be suspended or cancelled immediately depending on the actual conditions. If there is any emergencies or if you feel unwell, please seek assistance from our on-site staff immediately.
    13. Please understand that your participation is done at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you shall assume all risk or injury to yourself, and agree to release and discharge the organiser(s) from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of or in connection with your participation, whether arising out of the organiser(s)’ negligence or otherwise.
    14. HKADC reserves the right to decide and alter the operation of the activities at its own discretion. Should there be any changes or cancellations, please follow our latest updates on website and social media platforms.
    1. A confirmation email with the e-ticket will be sent to you upon successful application. Please check the junk mailbox if necessary.
    2. Upon confirmation of registration and payment, the deposit is non-refundable if the registrant is absent or withdraws from the event. The deposit will only be fully refunded via Popticket within one month after the event is completed for participants who have attended, or if the event is cancelled.
    3. The information provided will be used by the organisers and producer(s) for contact and programme promotion.
    1. If the Typhoon Signal No.8 or above / Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted 3 hours before the event, the event will be cancelled. No substitute time slots will be provided..
    2. The programme may be suspended or cancelled immediately depending on the actual weather conditions. Participants will receive a notification email from the organiser. Please stay tuned for any updates on the Facebook page and Instagram (@arts.tech.exhibition).
    3. The organiser(s) or producer(s) will proceed with the event based on weather conditions and ensure safety and reserve the right to cancel the activity in severe weather.
