Artist-curator

Ng Tsz-kwan

A multimedia artist and designer cum the co-founder and Executive Creative Director of yucolab. After graduating from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and later the Central Saint Martins College of Art in London in 2000, he is devoted to practising new media technology in the art, commercial exhibition, museum sectors, etc.  His works continuously delved into media technology and space's influences on human perception.

Sound Artist

Shane Aspegren

Shane Aspegren is largely known for his practices related to music and sound, which often play an integral part in his installations, images, videos, objects and performances. Through a cross-discipline and non-dualistic perspective, his projects often assume a relational point of view, while juxtaposing improvisational languages within carefully crafted frameworks.

In addition to his multi-faceted roles as a composer and musician, Aspegren’s artworks have been commissioned, collected and exhibited, or performed internationally, including at Palazzo Reale in Milan, Tai Kwun Contemporary, Spring Workshop, Para Site in Hong Kong; Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, Venice Biennale and elsewhere.
 

Dramaturg

Zoe Lai Sim-fong

Zoe graduated with Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Practice at the University of Exeter, and BA in Modern Languages and Intercultural Studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Zoe works as an independent dramaturg in theatre and contemporary dance and has presented her works in Liverpool, Manchester and Poland.

Her recent works include 100% Hong Kong (2021), performed by Rimini Protokoll at West Kowloon Cultural District, Testimony (2019) by Rooftop Productions, and Etiquette (2015) by Hong Kong Repertory Theatre. In recent years, she has been actively promoting cross-disciplinary projects, including SHIFTING by Knowledge Transfer (2019) at Tai Kwun. Zoe is keen to incorporate theatrical and performative elements in architecture. Her curated public education project for Tai Kwun, Edible Performance, won the Good Design Award Japan 2020.
 

Li Man-hin

Graduated from the Department of Philosophy and is passionate about bridging different disciplines through conceptual exploration, Li is also a founding member of Feast on Waste Land.

    1. The event is suitable for people aged 12 or above. However, eligible participants aged below 16 must be accompanied by a paying parent/ guardian.
    2. Limited quota will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
    3. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start time and bring along the confirmation e-mail for registration.
    4. An amount of HKD$150 shall be paid as deposit. The full deposit shall be refunded upon completion of the programme.
    5. The event will be held on cruise. If participants are prone to seasickness or easy to feel unwell, please prepare your own medicines.
    6. Please mute all sound-emitting devices, including mobile phones, during the event.
    7. Please be mindful when boarding or alighting the cruise and take good care of the accompanying children and elderly.
    8. The audience are free to move around inside the venue. Please wear comfortable clothing.
    9. Please do not eat and drink during the event.
    10. There is no parking and storage services. Please avoid bringing bulk belongings.
    11. In accordance with Section 18, 22 and Principle 6 of Schedule 1 to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to request access to and request correction of personal data. The personal data you provide by means of this registration will be kept as records of this project only.
    12. Participants may be captured in photos or video-recordings during the programme. The materials may be saved and uploaded to the organiser(s)’, partners(s) and the artist(s)’ websites, social media platforms, publications and/or publicity materials. All photos and videos will be used for promotion purpose only.
    13. For participants’ safety, if any emergency situations happen during the programme (e.g. adverse weathers, accidents or disturbances), the programme may be suspended or cancelled immediately depending on the actual conditions. If there is any emergencies or if you feel unwell, please seek assistance from our on-site staff immediately.
    14. Please understand that your participation is done at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you shall assume all risk or injury to yourself, and agree to release and discharge the organiser(s) from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of or in connection with your participation, whether arising out of the organiser(s)’ negligence or otherwise.
    15. Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) reserves the right to decide and alter the operation of the activities at its own discretion. Should there be any changes or cancellations, please follow our latest updates on website and social media platforms.
       
    1. A confirmation email will be sent to you upon successful application with payment instructions. Please check the junk mailbox if necessary.
    2. Upon confirmation of payment, applicants are not eligible for refund of deposit if they were absent or wish to withdraw from the event.
  • Typhoon Signal No.3 or above and Red & Black Rainstorm Warning Signal

    • If the signal is hoisted 3 hours before the event, all on-date programmes will be cancelled.
    • If the signal will be hoisted during the activities, all on-date programmes will be cancelled. Visitors will be advised to leave the site under safe circumstances.
    • If the programme is cancelled due to inclement weather conditions, no substitute time slots will be provided.
